English 2010 - Intermediate Writing
In this class, I had to make an online magazine about an issue of my choice. My issue was on biofuels and wrote a proposal on algae biofuels. I worked really hard on this magazine. It took many, many long hours to design the layout of the magazine. I even wanted to go all out by trying to a gallery that I could embed into my website it look more professional and organized...it turned out to be a wasted effort of about 4 hours of tweaking html/css codes because the website had a widget that I did not realize they had. I hope you enjoy!
We also did a massive group project about the UN Millennium Development Goals. It was so amazing how you can see all of the effort and thought that you could see other students put into their project. We written real, actual proposals and actually sent them out for them to be looked at and considered. This project was a way to help students expand their minds and teach them that they really can make a difference if they tried. Helping those in need are not as far off as we thought.
